FROM PAEKAKARIKI TO OTAKI
We’re here to help lighten the laundry load!
Whether it’s a weekly service or just help every once in a while, our wash and fold laundry service makes laundry day easy.
Choose your services, items, pickup time, and pay online.
Our team will pick up your items, clean them, and deliver them back to your doorstep.
Standard turn around is 2 days, but you can select next day delivery for a small fee.
If you require same day service, you will need to drop your items in store.
How Does It Work?
Step 1: Book Online
Create an account on our website, place your order, schedule you preferred pickup and delivery times. We have two ‘windows’ each day: 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm.
Orders must be made prior to 8am on the required day of pickup.
Stains: Stain removal isn’t a part of the 'Laundry - Wash, Dry, Fold' service. If you have items with stains you want removed, you’ll need to put them through as separate dry cleaning items and select the 'Stain Removal' option. You will need to put dry cleaning items in a separate bag to laundry and mark as ‘dry cleaning’. If you know what the stain is, i.e. blood, red wine, oil – put that in the notes so we know how to treat it best.
Whites and Colours: All laundry is washed, dried and folded together in one load. If you want whites and colours separated and washed in separate loads, you will need to place separate orders.
Step 2: Pickup Day
With your first order, leave your laundry in disposable bags for our driver to pick up. Our driver will tag your bags with your name and address.
Please avoid sending your laundry in hampers or on hangers – both can be damaged in transport.
If you have items to be sent in for dry cleaning or pressing, place those in a separate bag clearly labelled as “Dry Cleaning.”
On your first order with dry cleaning items, we will leave an over-door hanger. On delivery day, place that over your door and we will hang your items on it for you, so they remain beautifully pressed!
Step 3: We Do The Laundry & Dry Cleaning
We take your laundry back to our facility in Ihakara Street, Paraparaumu where we weigh it and inspect it. If, after weighing and inspecting, there are any additional charges, we will call you to discuss before charging you.
All laundry is washed, dried and folded together in one load. If you want whites and colours separate and washed in separate loads, you will need to place separate orders.
Dry cleaning items will have stains removed if applicable, and will be cleaned and pressed.
We use specialised dry cleaning software. Every item that come is our door is barcoded and tracked throughout the cleaning process.
Step 4: Delivery Day
We will deliver your laundry in air-tight, reusable plastic bags to help maintain the integrity of the folding. You can use these bags for your next order.
If you have items that have been dry cleaned or pressed, place the over-door hanger over your door and we will hang your items on it for you, so they remain beautifully pressed!
FAQ
-
What exactly is dry cleaning?Dry cleaning is recommended for most fabrics and is called "dry cleaning" because the solvents contain little or no water and do not penetrate the fibres as water does. Dry cleaning solvent is not harmful to any fabric and is often the only safe method for cleaning many types of garments. Please read our blog "What exactly is dry cleaning?" for more information.
-
What are the benefits of dry cleaning?Dry cleaning dissolves grease and oils in a way that water can’t. Natural fibres like cotton, wool and silk can shrink, distort, and lose colour when washed in water but dry clean easily. Synthetic fibres like polyester also respond well to dry cleaning, but they can retain oily stains after ordinary washing. Dry cleaning helps to return garments to their original condition and prevents shrinkage, loss of colour, and change of texture or finish. Please read our blog "The benefits of professional dry cleaning" for more information.
-
Is dry cleaning better than washing?Due to its soft washing process, clothes can keep that appearance of looking new. Delicates rarely shrink, and the colour and texture of the fabrics are easily maintained. It also has deeper cleaning abilities being able to lift oils and greases from fabrics. Please read our blog "The difference between dry cleaning and washing" for more information.
-
Does dry cleaning kill germs?Due to the multi-layered dry heat that clothes get exposed to during the dry cleaning process, virtually any organism left in the clothing dies. The high heat used in the process and the drying time of thirty minutes or more is the best way to eliminate viruses and bacteria.
-
Can dry cleaning damage clothes? No, dry cleaning prolongs the life of your clothing because it is being treated according to exact fabric specifications and removes soiling which does wear fabrics over time.
-
Are there any specific care instructions that customers should follow when preparing clothes for dry cleaning? We recommend that customers take certain precautions when preparing clothes for dry cleaning to ensure the best possible results. Here are a few tips to keep in mind: 1. Check the garment’s care label: Always check the care label on the garment before bringing it in for dry cleaning. The label will provide specific instructions on how to care for the fabric. 2. Remove all items from pockets: Before bringing a garment to us for dry cleaning, make sure to remove all items from pockets, such as pens or loose change. This will help to prevent damage to the garment and the dry cleaning machine. 3. Point out any stains or spots: If the garment has any stains or spots, make sure to point them out to our staff when you drop it off. This will help us to identify the best treatment method and ensure the stain removal is as effective as possible. By following these simple tips, you can help ensure that your clothes receive the best possible care during the dry cleaning process.

How do I know how much laundry I have?We have two load sizes – 8kg is our minimum (this is a standard, domestic washing machine load), and 8- 15kg is a large load. One of the best ways to quickly calculate your laundry load size is using your own arms. Typically, an easy armful of laundry is about 8kg. If you’re barely able to carry it, or if it’s more than one armload of laundry it’s a 8-15kg load. We will weigh your laundry when we receive it and if there is an additional charge, we will call you and let you know.
-
How long does it take to get my clothes back?We will get your order back within 48 hours of pickup. If you need it quicker just let us know. For some orders, depending on quantity and service requirements, we may need extra time to get your laundry looking its best, but we’ll ensure this is confirmed on pickup. While we do offer next-day delivery for wash, dry and fold laundry, dry cleaning is not eligible for next-day delivery. Dry cleaning is a more involved cleaning process. It takes longer. That’s why dry cleaning is delivered in two days.
-
Can you collect from one location and deliver to another? For sure! We only request that both pickup and drop off locations are within our service areas. Please request this when placing your order so we can organise an on-time delivery.

How do most people use your personal laundry pick up and delivery service? There is no one size fits all solution. Some families use our personal laundry service every week which allows them to get their clothes on a predictable rotation of about 1-2 bags per week. However, there are some people who like to let their laundry pile up – meaning they only need one big order per month. Others use it less as a replacement for their washing machine and more as a quick ‘get out of jail free card’ when things really start piling up, or you have more washing than usual, such as when you get back from holiday, or have guests. And, some people only send their sheets and towels during their seasonal deep clean. Everyone can use some help lightening the load! Test it out a couple of times and see where you find your sweet spot. Wherever it is, we’ve got a spot for you.
